On Sunday 2nd April Stourbridge Girls combined with Old Eds Five Ways and Birmingham Exiles Girls to enter U13s and U15s squads into the Girls Festival at Old Halesonians.

The 'Barbarians' put in some great performances against squads that have been established far longer than those of the three BaaBaas Clubs, with an epic win over Walsall Girls that could have gone either way.

SRFC Girls did us all proud throughout the day, representing the BaaBaas in every game. One of our local RFU RDOs made special comment on his own Twitter feed that the two Barbarians teams were a credit to Rugby and their Clubs. WELL DONE GIRLS!!!!

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day and our thanks go to Old Hales for organising such a great event.
