We need your help!

With the installation of the AGP comes a number of jobs that we need to get completed over the Summer to bring the clubhouse, grounds and facilities up to scratch.

Please find below a list of jobs that require volunteers to come forward and help. If there's anything you can assist with, please contact John Shaw.

AGP & SRFC Schedule of Works (during building phase)

  • Ex-first team posts to be re-sited on Lions pitch
  • Existing dugouts to be retained and refurbished (Lions Pitch)
  • Concrete posts to be recycled : ‘hardcore for hardstanding’.
  • Scoreboard - existing construction outside RFU demise to remain responsibility of SRFC
  • Disabled ramp to be reworked not removed
  • Perimeter fencing - All wire fencing and posts to be re-serviced
  • Storage container - New M&J storage facility
  • Existing terraced area (in front of clubhouse) to be retained where possible with consideration being given to new spectator terracing extending to end of new pitch footprint
  • Consideration to terracing (wooden sleeper or kerb) for new bund(s)
  • Generally, reinstatement of disturbed areas to blend in with existing landscape and proposed terracing
  • Clearance of area under stand
  • Installation of new security ‘rising bollards’ on main car park
  • Tower Room to be redecorated
  • Front Entrance - Repaint steelwork & reinstate fencing
  • Main drive to be re-serviced

All the above are separate jobs or projects requiring ‘ Volunteers’ and more importantly ‘Project Leaders’ to facilitate our service to the AGP programme
