Part of the original coaching team of the Lions, John provided admin support and jelly babies for the current pride of Lions. Hopey was a hugely valued and respected member of the Stourton Park set up who had a lifelong passion for rugby, firstly with our near neighbours DK and then with us, he will be sorely missed by everyone in the local rugby community.
John was a teacher for over 30 years before becoming a councillor, working for free, to help people through their emotional problems.

He was also a devoted family man and our thoughts and prayers go out to his daughter Rhiannon, sons Alexander and Jonathon, grand-daughters Autumn and Megan, grand-sons Rowan and Caius, great grand-daughter Robyn.
