After a great day out at Aston Old Eds festival the previous week, Stourbridge Girls were getting involved at the Club for one of the biggest weekends of the year.

On Saturday, five of our Girls performed as Ball Girls for the Under 14s' game against Hinckley Under 14s, before teaming up with the Under 10s to perform Ball Girl/Boy duties for the First XV game against Hinckley. A massive day for the whole Club with the biggest crowd of the season and the Official Launch of the AGP.

On Sunday morning, they were back at it with an intense training session on the AGP, followed by a conditioned game that included all 20 girls. Nicki Spilman (Manager) and Sam Rnic (Coach), who looked after the Girls until the end of last season, came along to watch the Girls and give them their support. At the end of the session, the Girls presented Sam and Nicki with gifts to show their appreciation of what they'd both done for Girls' Rugby at Stourbridge.

They weren't finished there though. Five of the Girls helped Santa as Elves, bringing a bit of Christmas to the younger M&Js at the Christmas Fayre. A few of the older Girls also helped out with stalls at the Fayre.

As one of their Coaches, I couldn't be prouder of the Girls. They are loving their rugby and making a great contribution to events at their Club. Well done Girls!!!!
