James played rugby at Stourbridge from a young age, progressing through the mini and junior section advancing to play adult rugby for the Club as a hooker back in 1998. Unfortunately James was badly injured following a scrum collapse; he suffered a broken neck, resulting in subsequent paralysis from his neck down.

Despite this, James has continued to be an avid rugby and Stourbridge fan. We are very proud to hold this festival in his name.

There will be 15 teams from across Wales and England competing in our festival - it should prove to be an exciting day of rugby. Please come along to support the boys, 10:30am - 2:30pm. The bar and kitchen will be open for business, along with the infamous 'Jackie Jeavons-Fellows’ Tower Tea and Cake Room'. Any cake donations gratefully received!
