The Magic Academy comes to Stour

About this Event
Chief Wizard and Former England Rugby Performance Coach Russell Earnshaw (Rusty) will be coming to Stourton Park to Run a session on CARDS (This is a style of coaching that isn’t rugby specific and based around these principles; CREATIVITY, AWARENESS, RESILIENCE, DECISION MAKING AND SELF ORGANISATION.
Rusty has worked with England Rugby for the Under 18s and 20s and the senior squads helping to establish the performance pathway for England Rugby. Alongside this, he also does a tremendous amount of work at Grassroots level helping to develop both Coaches & players. The evening is suitable for coaches of all age groups including adults who want to experience a fresh way of coaching and this method is adaptable to most other sports.
The evening will start at 5pm with a quick presentation in the clubhouse and then we will go out onto the AGP Pitch to watch Rusty coach a group 14/15 year olds who are doing Rugby as part of their Duke of Edinburgh award this season. At the end we will pop back into the clubhouse where Rusty can answer any questions you may have.
