Annual Halloween Dress up

On a bright day we welcomed the micros and U6’s to dress up for a Halloween themed session with some redesigned Halloween games. Over the two groups we had vampires, skeletons, werewolves and, er, Deadpool. Thanks to all the coaches in both groups who dressed up also (insert own “spook-tacular” joke here.) A special thanks to Nancy for helping out with the micro’s; Nancy is one of our new U9’s who was brilliant helping with the younger groups. Thanks Nancy.

In the micro’s this week, Finley won the cup for best passing which is a discipline that was worked on extensively this week; well done to Finley.

In the U6’s we concentrated on dodging and finding space and then culminated with Sharks Vs Pirates mixing up the numbers; mentions to Oliver and James for great tagging as the sharks and Callum, Barney I and Ted for some great dodging.

The listening cup was won by Lara this week; really strong listening displayed in the diagonal dodge game where she also showed very good awareness of others around her. Henry won the awesome cup this week; Henry has only been with us for about a month but in that month his confidence has grown every session and this was his best session yet displaying rounded core skills and all games.

Well done to Lara and Henry.
