New Skill this Session

After a week off due to the weather, it was back to normal this Sunday with the micro's. We had a good turn-out as usual and also welcomed 3 players from Chaddesley Corbett RFC; hope you enjoyed your time with SRFC micro's.

During this session we introduced a new area of development for the micro's that has built on the catching sessions we have done throughout the season. We introduced running on to the pass and then distribution; as it was the first time the micro's have tried this skill we had the coaches passing and receiving. Over the course of the remainder of the season, we will have this game run with micro's passing to each other to encourage this action for when they play games.

The rest of the session went extremely well incorporating pass the parcel and rob the nest; pass the parcel went very well considering it is one of the more technical games that the micro's play.

This week, Blake (or Flash as he has been dubbed) won the listening cup; we had very good feedback from his coach about his focus and attitude so well done Blake.

Again the other cup had a new name which was given to the best catcher; this was Ronnie so well done Ronnie. He is also a bit camera shy, hence the exclusion from the picture!
