Double update

24th March
With another week cancelled down to the crazy weather, it was great to see everyone come back in the sunshine. The micros welcomed another new player Santiago; welcome to SFRC Santi!

In this session, they had the pads out again and that seemed to go down a storm; crashing through them and the coaches also! We had 4 certificates awarded this week to Jack, Jude, Isaac and Harrison; well done to all of you.

In the U6’s we concentrated on defence again building on last week which worked well; the players were communicating well and that was pleasing to see. 4 certificates were awarded this wee also to Ted, Sid, Scott and Lara. Well done!

31st March
A great turn-out for Mother’s day which allowed the groups to perform the tunnel clap off for all the Mum’s in attendance as we’ve done for the last few years.

Micro’s was all about tagging and running with the ball this week; they was some great passing as well and all were running around with beaming smiles which is what it’s all about.

U6’s had another go on the tackle bag and concentrated on playing games again; really pleasing to see the players have the confidence to run with the ball and identify space themselves. This is the passing are key to when we move to U7’s next season.
