I am pleased to invite you to this year’s Debenture Club Dinner. Traditionally this is our single, male only, black tie event on the Social Calendar, open to Debenture Club Members, Club Members and their guests.

This year we welcome as our speaker, Peter Jones, the recently retired headmaster of Oldswinford Hospital School. Peter joined the school as Director of Sport in 1988 and took responsibility for the development of rugby in 1989 and progressed to headmastership from 2007 to 2014. An avid advocate of all things Welsh and particularly rugby, Peter suffers the ignominy of being born on April 23rd, St. George’s Day. Since retirement, he has been part of a small group invited to establish and set up a mentoring and welfare system at Saracens to support and advise the playing squad on life after rugby. On the eve of super Saturday that will decide the outcome of this year’s Six Nations, there will be plenty to muse about.
