Space/Dodging this week

Another good week this week for both age group; we welcomed a new micro and a new U6 which is always pleasing; welcome to Holly in the micros and Freddie in the U6’s. This week for the micros was all about dodging which include relay races with the dodging poles and dodging the coaches; not being fazed the fact that it was he first session, Holly came in and won the cup! This was given to her for her infectious smile which lasted all session and also the best dodging of the group; very well done Holly.

In U6’s Quinn showed the best teamwork particularly when we played Red Arrows demonstrated by his patience in waiting for the other U6 to be ready for the pass before passing the ball to them; great work Quinn and nice to see him improving every week.

The dodging this week by the U6’s was first class; most looking where they were running and applying a great amount of focus during the redesigned version of Rob the Nest incorporating the notions of attack and defence. A special mention here to Huw who (when defending) got knocked over and (whilst laying on the ground) simply rose his hand up showing the tag that he took en-route to falling to the ground. Remarkable.

Well done again to all the kids.
