150th Anniversary Lunch – Saturday 31st October
Stourbridge Rugby Club celebrates 150 years this season, and we're planning a special day at Stourton Park on Saturday 31st October to mark the occasion.

Our First XV welcome Moseley Oak, a particularly fitting fixture for the anniversary, as it is believed that Stourbridge's first ever match back in 1876 was against Moseley.

We're hoping to bring together members, former players, families and supporters from across the generations to celebrate this milestone.

Everyone is welcome to join us for our special pre-match anniversary lunch.

150th Anniversary Lunch Menu
Main Course - Pan-fried chicken supreme with chasseur sauce, Hasselback potatoes and a selection of spring vegetables.

Vegetarian option - Mediterranean vegetable tart with a cheese topping, Hasselback potatoes and a selection of spring vegetables.

Dessert - Bread and butter pudding with custard or a selection of cheese.
£26.50 per person, including match entry.

Plans for the Day
We're putting together a number of special touches to make the anniversary a memorable occasion.

A commemorative match programme will feature a look back at 150 years of the club's history, with a complimentary copy for everyone attending the lunch.

A collection of historical club photographs will be on display throughout the day, featuring former players, teams, events and memories from years gone by.

We're also hoping to involve as many of our Minis & Juniors as possible, forming a tunnel to welcome the First XV onto the pitch. Sweet bags will be provided for the youngsters taking part.

Following the match, we're planning to invite everyone onto the pitch for a special 150th anniversary group photograph, bringing together former and current players, members, supporters and our Minis & Juniors.

There will also be plenty of opportunities to catch up with old friends, share memories and celebrate the club's history.
