A long standing supporter of the Club, Bob passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday after a short illness following a recent fall. He would be proud that he left us on VE Day.

He played his rugby in the United, Greyhounds and Grasshoppers teams and was a regular in the "Line Out", particularly noted for his portrayal of "Shortie" in "It Ain't Half Hot Mum".

He would have been eighty in November.
