It is that time of year again when we look forward to our Annual Corporate Lunch located in the grand marquee at Stourton Park. This year’s event which includes a four-course meal with coffee will keep you entertained as we welcome our great line up of speakers.

We are delighted to introduce our two guest speakers this year, Jonathan “Jiffy” Davies OBE and Sir Alastair Cook CBE.

Jonathan is well-known as a TV pundit for both Rugby Union and Rugby League codes having played for Wales and Great Britain. He had two spells playing league in Australia. Doubtless he will remind us of his “up and under” try against England in the 1985 Five Nations. Jonathan captained Wales 4 times and Great Britain once. At the other end of the captaincy scale Alastair led England 59 times with one 154 consecutive Test appearances. He is England’s leading Test batsman with 12,472 runs to his name soon to be overtaken by Joe Root. Since his retirement from first class cricket, he has been a Radio commentator for Test Match Special and TNT Sports.

To complete the afternoon, we welcome back Mike Osman, who many will remember as Donald Trump. Mike joins us as part of his nationwide tribute tour as he honours the Cornish comedian legend “Jethro’.

The format for the day will follow the customary pattern with guests arriving from eleven thirty in good time for some early networking prior to lunch served at 1.00 pm. After the speeches there will be the customary auction. There will be a barbecue and DJ for anyone keen to lengthen the day from 6.00 pm onwards.
