Match Report:
Stourbridge 2s 106-Market Drayton 5
Market Drayton are battling to remain in the league system and, despite some dismal recent results, were able to score first and led for a few minutes.
It then became a procession, as Stourbridge's position as league leaders told. Stour remained disciplined and kept their shape well, showing some superb skills to annihilate their game opponents.
Hat-tricks from Rob Gazzard, skipper James Dallison and speedy wing Luke Bimson, a recent arrival from Bromsgrove, accounted for half of the team's 18 tries. Bimson was also very involved in midfield and provided at least one assist.
Further tries from Will Bishop and Dmitri Morrison, who scored 2 each, in addition to Ethan Gilbert, Olly Clare, Zak Grant, Will Waterfield and George Walker were supplemented by 5 conversions from vice captain James Westwood, who guided the team superbly on his return from the First team. We also had the joy of all action prop Ethan Shewring converting one try from close to the touchline.
Stour require 12 points to guarantee promotion and have 5 matches remaining. Exciting times.

Match Report:
The colts stormed into the North Mids Semi Finals with a 38-24 win against Hereford at Stourton
We started strongly and an early try was just reward for our territorial dominance. However a number of handling areas and missed tackles let the physical Hereford pack work their way back into the game. The game turning into a real battle in midfield with 2 strong packs, and momentum swung with a turnover on our 5m line by Hayden, quick hands set our fly half into space down the wing, and his sublime 30m inside pass put Theo in under the posts . A controversial yellow card and penalty just before half time giving Hereford the chance to go over and we headed in at half time 12-19 down.
The second half continued in the same vain, a couple of breaks from Zach, putting us deep in their 22 and allowing our forwards to get us over for 2 close range tries, our scrum dominance giving us turnover ball and disrupting their platform. Brave goal line defence kept our noses in front and a late try by George put us out of touch.
Man of the match goes to Captain, Todd S for his hat trick, just beating his brother Theo with 2 Tries.
We go to Droitwich next Sunday in the league, the Semi Final will be March 9th.
Thanks
Chris
