The Stourbridge First XV sits at the heart of senior rugby at Stourton Park, competing in Regional 1 Midlands and representing the highest level of rugby within the Club.
Following a strong 2025/26 campaign which saw the side finish the season with an excellent run of form and reach the promotion play-off final, the First XV heads into our historic 150th season with plenty of ambition.
Led by Director of Rugby Neil “Mitch” Mitchell and Joint Head Coaches Mike Penn and Nick Selway, alongside Assistant Coach Adam Sturdy, the squad combines experienced players with an increasing number progressing through the Stourbridge pathway. Former Colts continue to establish themselves within senior rugby, with players developing through the Lions and pushing for First XV opportunities.
The addition of Dan Rundle as Player and Strength & Conditioning Coach has further strengthened the senior rugby programme, with an increased focus on fitness, resilience, player availability and performance across the squad.
With a strong core of players retained and continued development throughout our senior section, the focus remains firmly on building a competitive First XV, playing ambitious rugby and representing Stourbridge with pride both on and off the pitch.
