Kidderminster Under 10s v Stourbridge – 5 October 2014
Stourbridge under 10s travelled to Kidderminster with 2 teams on a sunny, but chilly, Sunday morning.
The Stourbridge squad was split into 2 teams of mixed ability sides, each team played 3 matches.
Kidderminster’s teams proved a very good match for Stourbridge, the hosts played a good tackling and passing game, which at times tested Stour’s defence.
Stourbridge showed excellent team work, putting into practice the new skills they have learnt, in addition to great passing and support play. This, combined with some outstanding evasive runs, gave Stour the edge.
This was the first competitive game of the new season, the lads all demonstrated how well they have adapted to the new skills and laws, and represented Stourbridge RFC with good sportsmanship and tenacity.
Well Done Lads!
