U9s First Game Playing Contact Rugby

Stourbridge U9s made the trip to Bromsgrove Rugby Club for their first game playing contact rugby.

The full squad arrived at the ground on what was a beautifully sunny morning.

The squad was split into two teams, who each played three games.

With part of the large Bromsgrove squad away at other fixtures, our teams managed to win all of their matches using the new RFU equalisation rules. All of the boys played a part in the games and really stepped up to the plate and worked very hard for each other.

What was more pleasing to see than the winning outcome of the matches, was the team spirit and discipline shown by everyone, if this is the standard of commitment, rugby play and team work from the boys we are in for a cracking season.
