Down to 14 when Carlos Segura went off just before half time, a groin injury to Josh Shergold left us starting the second half 13-7 down and with 13 men. A sin-binning with 15 mins to go for Tom Rubery left us with 12 but the 12 men, with Tom back to support, produced a herculean effort to score with a minute to go to win 30-23, Stef Williams going over on the left.

All were outstanding but man of the match Chris Turner, Andy Slater and the Williams twins, with Stef on the right wing and Stefan on the left, were the stars. An amazing match and a raw outpouring of courage that left this coach proud as punch. Heroes all!!
